Information provided to us by Job Seekers for the purposes of finding employment will be disclosed to relevant prospective employers, but only after the consent of the Job Seeker is obtained.
Email addresses, personal details and information provided to TRS are regarded as totally confidential. We will not use individuals’ personal details for purposes other than communications about the services offered by TRS. These details are not made available under any circumstances to other organisations, unless your permission has been sought and obtained beforehand. This means that if you submit your CV to TRS and seek help from us in finding a job, we will not send it out to schools or recruiters without your prior permission.
Access to your personal information is provided by use of your username (your email address) and password. You are responsible for ensuring the privacy and security of your username.
If you contact us with a request for assistance in using site features or report an error, authorised TRS employees or contractors may access your user registration details solely in order to diagnose your problem and identify solutions.
We do not disclose your information to outside parties.
We will not sell trade or rent your personal information to any other third parties. From time to time we may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, traffic patterns and any related site information to reputable third-parties, but these statistics will include no specific identifying information.

Teachers and Schools will be removed from our database immediately upon request. There is a facility for both Teachers and Schools to remove themselves from the website.
Registration
Registration is optional. TEACHER RECRUITMENT ONLINE’s registration form requires users to provide an email address, in order to provide free services such as Job Alert and newsletter. To complete the registration process, you must choose a username and password.
If you forget your login name and/or password you can request that we provide this information to you.
You can edit/cancel your registration and so delete your file by going to My Home Page and editing your membership details.
Job Alert
Job Alert is a free and optional service. It requires users to complete TEACHER RECRUITMENT ONLINE’s registration process and to give information about the types of vacancies they are interested in. The Job Alert file can only be viewed by the person who created it (or anyone whom that user gives his or her user name and password to). Users who sign up for Job Alert will receive an automated email message from TEACHER RECRUITMENT ONLINE to the email address nominated by the user. The email will contain details of job vacancies that match the user's criteria. Job Seekers can edit their personal details to stop/commence receiving Job Alerts.
Newsletter
The TRS Newsletter is a free and optional service. To receive the newsletter Job Seekers need to complete TEACHER RECRUITMENT ONLINE’s registration process and confirm they wish to receive the Newsletter. Job Seekers who sign up for the Newsletter will receive an email Newsletter addressed to the email address nominated by the user. Job Seekers can edit their personal details to stop/commence receiving the Newsletter.
Schools and advertisers will, receive the Newsletter by default. Schools and advertisers can edit their “School page” to stop/commence receiving the Newsletter
Confidential Profile
Confidential Profile is a free and optional service. It requires Job Seekers to complete TEACHER RECRUITMENT ONLINE’s registration process and confirm they wish to post their Confidential Profile. The Confidential Profile provides information to recruiters. Job seekers can edit their Confidential Profile to stop/commence its availability to recruiters.
Confidential Profiles DO NOT provide personal details to recruiters unless you choose to make them available. Should a recruiter wish to communicate with a job seeker this will be channelled through TRS to ensure Job seekers names and email addresses are kept confidential.
Applying Online
Applying Online is a free and optional service. It requires Job Seekers to complete TEACHER RECRUITMENT ONLINE’s registration process. An email with your CV will be sent directly to the advertiser. This data is not stored by TRS. However, a log file is created which notes the sender and recipient's email address. This log file is referred to if errors are reported.
IP Address
TRS’s web servers gather your IP address to help diagnose problems with our service, to administer our site, and to gather broad demographic information. Demographic information is gathered in aggregate only and cannot be traced to an individual user.
Cookies
A cookie is a small piece of information created by your browser using information sent from a website so it can later be read back from that browser.
When you visit some areas of our website, a temporary cookie may be used, which are only stored for the duration of a single browser session. These temporary cookies allow our servers to deliver information you request (eg, Job Alerts).
