Guidelines - Maintain Applications


In Maintain Applications all applications for your vacancy are listed. You can view full details on each applicant by clicking view. This will display the persons Profile and a link to their CV, including contact details.

To help keep track of all the applicants for your jobs, we have devised the Shortlist system. Adding candidates to the shortlist simply allows you to monitor their progress as you process their application. This does not tell the potential applicant that they have been short-listed. If you want to add the teacher to the shortlist for that job, click the Select for Shortlist box; conversely to remove someone from your shortlist click the Remove from Shortlist box.

At a later time, to review the shortlist for a single job, click the Shortlist link for the job in the Maintain Vacancies page.

If the applicant is unsuitable, you should email (or write if no email address) a polite message to the applicant declining their application.

Once you have finalised your shortlist you can then contact those on the list and make appropriate arrangements for interviews etc.
