Guidelines - School Profile

The School Profile page gives you the opportunity to promote and market your school. You can create an online portfolio of information to promote your school to potential applicants.

While the drop-down sections are self-explantory, it is important to use the free text boxes to promote your school.

General Info About your School: This section is where you “sell” your school. Go to the section on Marketing your School to get ideas on how to best promote the benefits of working in your school.

Staffing details: explain the structure and make-up of your school. Draw attention to any unique features of your school staffing arrangements – include information on professional support.

Alumni Information: include any relevant information regarding past pupils

Policies: This section enables you to outline your key policies – again use this section to promote positive policies – include info on discipline policy; streamimg policy; homework policy.

ERO reports: This section enables you to paste and copy your school’s ERO report; alternatively you can summarise your ERO report.

Awards: include any details of awards the school, pupils etc have achieved.

Research has shown that teachers are more likely to apply for jobs with the school guide information displayed.
